The birthday girl has wanted to be in the pool since she woke. It was raining up until about noon. The kids got ready for the pool and then our littlest fell asleep as I rocked him on Nana's porch. It worked out that I left him home for a time with you (thanks!) until you left to get the car from the dealership. Then he stayed with his big brother as I went to the pool for a quick swim with the birthday girl. She went down the slide!! I talked her into it for her 5th birthday!! Then you called and invited me out on a dinner date. So, after Nana dropped our littlest off for a quick swim after his nap, I took the kids home, bathed them, ran to McDonald's and Red Box to get dinner for the kids and a family movie. The kids all stayed home eating their McDonald's and watching their movie until we were done with our dinner. I told them we would be home by the end of their movie and we were.
Thanks for inviting me to dinner! It was nice to be able to have a full conversation and eat my food without interruption;)
