We just walked in from the movies.
Toy Story 3.
Not my favorite, a little too scary for the 2 little ones.
Perfect for the 2 older boys though.
The kids are in crazy mode.
In the car on the way to the movie a couple of funny things were said.
1. Our daughter said, "look it's a girl police officer. Girls aren't suppose to be police officers."
I replied,
"girls can be anything they want to be."
To which she said,
"no, not if their family says they can't."
I reiterated that any of the kids can be anything they want to be.
Nana even said,
"God has a purpose and a plan for your life. You will just need to follow what He has planned for you."
To that our littlest one spoke up and simply said,
"I don't want to be anything."
2. Just after that the kids started talking about food. We passed the Olive Garden and our daughter said,
"I wish we could eat there after the movie."
"Yes, I know that is one of your favorite places," I said.
She thought a minute and then she said,
"Moma, when your dead I'm gonna drink all the soda I want and get fat!"
Oh.
Nice.
"Great aspiration," I said.
Hope you have had a great day.
