Crocodile Tears.

I just got some alone time with our middle son.
He is crying big crocodile tears.
He says he feels sick.
He is really home sick.
He wants us to leave the park right now.
He doesn't want to stay a minute longer.
The sooner he can get home the better.
So, I texted you.
And I talk it over with him a little more.
I know this is not going to go over well with the other children if we leave early but-
he is so sad.
He wants us to leave.
He can't be distracted, or talked out of it for anything.
He can't even get a smile to creep up for the "camera."
Not even for the 4 o'clock photo.
I told him I will take him home as soon as we get our oldest and our daughter out of the water.
I told him it is okay to be home sick and not to feel bad at all about it.
He didn't want to let his siblings down.
I told him the best remedy for being home sick is to go home!

Finally, a smile. I think there is a storm rolling in. I think we made the right decision to head home!

We should be pulling in around 9p.m.
Love,
Me
