The Bakery.

Sugar pie just woke from a car nap-
what a great treat to wake up for!

Right after I picked the kids up from school we went to the Bakery.

It was so hot outside (94) I thought about doing ice cream.

 I decided I wanted a little variety and I wanted the kids to have something more fall just because.

Our littlest one was the only one to pick out a fall cookie.

I had a portion of it.

I thought they went a little heavy on the icing so I started to scrape the top of the cookie along the bag it came in when our 8 year old stopped me so he could eat the icing.

Then we went to the park and had it all to ourselves because I guess everyone stays indoors when it is so hot outside. The heat reminded me of Hilton Head. We had a great breeze and the kids only complained a little towards the end about feeling to hot. I had them fill their water bottles at the fountain just before we left the park.

Finally, it was off to pick up our oldest from practice.

We arrived about an hour early.

The kids watched a movie and I paid a few bills while kinda keeping an eye on our oldest.

They have a new play they are going to try this week.

I can't wait to see if it works!
