Hoop-D-Doo Review Dinner Show

We are at the bus stop waiting to head to a 5 o'clock dinner show at Fort Wilderness.
Usually it only takes 30 minutes to be transported to Fort Wilderness but
the Dinner tickets say to allow an hour for travel time so we do.
First we take the bus to Magic Kingdom and then take a ferry boat over to Fort Wilderness.
Once we arrived at the Magic Kingdom the ferry we needed was broken.
They were using a very small back up boat
and the line was extra long. We waited and grew impatient.
We called reservations to let them know the predicament we were in.
(because your account is charged whether you show up for your dinner reservation or not)
There was nothing we could do but wait for the slow boat to take us to Fort Wilderness.
We arrived 15 minutes late and the show had already started.
Our littlest was completely unglued at this point and didn't want to have anything to do with eating.
As for the rest of us, we enjoyed the food and it is our favorite dinner show.
(we go each year and it is a highlight)
Little did we expect that midway through the show the cast would pick our middle son to go up on stage and perform a portion of the show with them. What a treat! He did great-
He was the hero of the show, casting off the villain.
And she was very happy he came to the rescue.
So she kissed him on the cheek. Which would gag any 8 year old!
(he played the part very well and we were cracking up)
He got an earful and took it quite well.

At the end there is audience participation. The kids always look forward to the strumming of the spoons on the instrument. Daddy always covers his ears it is so loud.
Thankfully, littlest mister perked up by the end and enjoyed himself some what.
The whole show was great entertainment for little miss!
Dinner:
Fried Chicken
Ribs
Corn Bread
Mashed Potatoes
Baked Beans
Strawberry Shortcake

Love,
Me
